Regeneration: Edgware Road Tube Station Rename

Church Street Neighbourhood Management will undertake extensive consultation of traders, businesses and residents of Church Street with regard to campaigning for the Bakerloo Line branch of Edgware Road tube station to be renamed to Church Street Market. Brief consultation to date demonstrates that the local resident and business community would fully support such a campaign.

Murad Qureshi AM is a Member of the Economic Development, Culture, Sport and Tourism Committee and has publically supported a campaign to change the name of the Bakerloo branch of Edgware Road; "There are currently two Edgware Road tube stations: one on the District and Circle and another on the Bakerloo line. I have always believed that this is very confusing for people trying to meet someone at either of the two stations".

Church Street Neighbourhood Management intend to work with Murad Qureshi AM in gauging opinion and then engaging with Transport for London. Updates will be published on this site regularly.
